Tonight,they floated me to Neuro Trauma.They are pretty hopping,so I don’t mind terribly.However,I do hate being in a unit other than my CVICU. I think my manager hates me. In other news,they are doing layoffs here because Oklahoma didn’t opt-in for the Health Care Act.Or so they say.I’m sure it plays part of it,but being bought out didn’t help.

But I really don’t. :/
I vomit fairly often and I feel nausea even more so.I’m not sure why.It’s like sometimes my stomach clamps off and says ,”No.”
Ennis Island is closed.No through traffic.Dead end. It makes me anxious.I’ve seen what it does to the body,and not just what you see on anti-bulemia PSA’s.Yeah,malnutrition is bad ,but ripping an aorta or esophagus can kill you.
As soon as I throw up I generally feel so much better.I really do need to figure this out.Maybe when I can earn some extra monies.The transient idiopathic anorexia is a large enough hurdle.Adding random bouts of pukiness is just insult-to-injury territory.I can’t even say it is from over-eating.Very frustrating.

What really bugs me is I don’t feel I can discuss it openly (outside of family) and have people NOT jump to the conclusion that I have an eating disorder.It is a digestion issue,plain and simple.I have trouble on the entire GI tract.In a weird way,it makes sense.Elder Brother has a hiatal hernia,ulcers,and horrible gastric reflux.The Boy has Crohn’s and other celiac issues.Strong genetic links bond me everywhere.I just hate having to defend my malaise.

I feel for people who deal with eating disorders,I do in many ways.I am not saying my illness or theirs is worse or more shameful.I guess what I’m getting at is that these are different beasts. I am tired.I am ranting more than fruitfully explaining things.I am going to bed.To all a good day.

Everyone I know is safe tonight.Our hospital may get overflow from Moore,but we aren’t sure yet.Everyone here is keeping an eye on the news,as horrible as it is.I really hope this prompts the building of proper school/public shelters.So many places have been hit and so few places have adequate safe rooms.

To sleep,I need a melatonin pill and two unisom.It used to be two and a half,but I lost weight and got nervous.I had a two hour nap before Hannah’s birthday dinner and therefore probably won’t be able to get rest for a while.I dislike the pills and insomnia.I know that without the chemical help,instead of a two hour wait for the pills to kick in,it could be a 24-36 hour wait for sleep.A sleep study would be interesting to do if funds weren’t a deterrent.
This weekend was really alright for the most part.I was a mega bitch on Saturday at the renaissance faire,but I had my reasons.I hate doing things as a group.I hate when people annoint themselves as leaders.Especially when they are total newbs.Here’s the thing,sir.I have been going to these shindigs MY ENTIRE LIFE.My mother used to run her own in the early nineties.I know the things that I like to see,and they don’t include babbling hacks.People who actually do things are amazing,especially when you get to learn and participate.You don’t go to mock people who volunteer on hot,humid,rainy weekends.You don’t go to be an “ironic” asshole. You don’t go to level yourself up.You don’t go to be a sexist pig.You go to have fun,look at things people can do without modern technologies,and make some memories with people you like to be around. Exiting soapbox.
